UAB Casa Convalescència Meeting and Convention Center

UAB Casa Convalescència is a building which is part of the modernist Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau complex. It is the UAB’s Continued Education Center and "Third Cycle" Studies Center, located in downtown Barcelona. It is also the headquarters for the UAB Foundation, the Doctor Robert Foundation, the Josep Laporte library and the UAB Idiomes (Language Center). This building offers a wide range of facilities, halls and classrooms that further compliment the facilities of the Congress and Convention Center at the UAB campus.

Casa Convalescència runs training courses, masters programs, seminaries and conferences on a wide range of educational issues, especially those having to do with health and life sciences. It is also possible to rent its facilities for conventions, business meetings, seminars and gatherings. Its physical characteristics and location are ideal for events related to health and life sciences, which are frequently held here. The entire 6,245 square meter center is divided into three floors and a basement, with classrooms that are fully equipped with multi-media technology.
