UAB has 9 libraries distributed throughout its campuses. In addition, UAB offers a general map library, a media documentation and reference center as well as a press archive. The total library collection consists of 730,731 books and 39,835 collections of newspaper and magazine articles.

The computerization of this service allows access to the index files of all UAB libraries, the network of catalonian university libraries as well as the principal international documentation centers.
